Students that grow with faith tend to do better academically and socially in school, and later on in college. Now is the time to get your kids involved with youth programs for students, by students.

What is

SOAR?

Our Lady of Grace Pastorate’s new youth ministry is for those in 7th to 12th grade. We desire to have a vibrant community of young people growing together in their relationship with Jesus, support of one another, and living their faith with purpose and joy.

We are united as a pastorate, each parish will have its own SOAR Youth Ministry. We desire a youth ministry where every young person knows they are seen, known, and loved by God. We aim to empower each member to live lives through the lens of the Church and not through the broken glasses of the secular world.

Our mission is to help youth encounter Christ, grow in discipleship, and live as joyful witnesses of the Catholic faith in their parish, pastorate, and beyond.

  • What does a coordinator do?

    You are trusted and empowered to help lead SOAR Youth Ministry in your parish. Your role is not to do everything yourself, but to mentor, guide, and support youth leaders so they can step into their gifts. You provide the steady presence that makes youth ministry safe, faith-filled, and fruitful.


    As a SOAR Coordinator, you are responsible for:

    • Supporting and guiding youth leaders.

    • Helping facilitate meetings, projects, and events.

    • Ensuring safety and alignment with parish expectations.

    • Tracking youth participation points.

    • Modeling Catholic discipleship through your words and actions.

  • What age can youth participate?

    Grades 7-12
