Safe

environment

The Diocese of Sioux Falls is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and faith-filled environment for all children, youth, and vulnerable adults. Every religious education teacher and volunteer who works with minors in Our Lady of Grace Pastorate completes the Diocese's Safe Environment requirements, including background checks and required training. Together, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of trust, respect, and care as we help our young people grow in their Catholic faith.

Our Lady of Grace provides a strong, Christ-centered curriculum that helps children and youth grow in their knowledge and love of the Catholic faith. Rooted in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the teachings of the Church, the curriculum focuses on age-appropriate catechesis, prayer, the sacraments, and living as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Through engaging lessons and faithful instruction, our religious education program strives to form lifelong Catholics who know, love, and serve the Lord.

Religious Education is about much more than classroom learning—it's about helping children encounter Jesus Christ and grow in their Catholic faith. Through engaging lessons, hands-on activities, prayer, preparation for the sacraments, and meaningful devotions, we strive to make learning the faith both fun and memorable. Our dedicated catechists are passionate about sharing God's love and helping each child build a lifelong relationship with Christ and His Church.
